Galveston Group Activities on a Segway
Looking for something your whole group will remember? A guided Segway tour gets everyone outside, moving and seeing Galveston Island together, whether it is a company outing, a birthday, a family reunion or a bachelorette weekend.
Segway Galveston has guided riders around Galveston since 2009. Every tour starts with hands-on training at our shop in the Strand Historic District, so nobody in your group needs Segway experience.
Two ways to book a group tour
Private tour: your group gets its own guide and a route built around your interests, such as historic sites, the Strand, the Seawall, the tree carvings or sunset viewpoints. Pricing depends on group size, location and itinerary, so request a quote online or call 409-692-6691.
Join a scheduled tour: book any of our public tours online for your whole party and pick the departure time that suits you. Parties of 6 or more are charged a 15% gratuity upon arrival at the scheduled tour time.

Team building in Galveston
The Turtles and Murals Tour is built for friendly competition. Along the route your team plays Turtle Trivia, takes on eye-spy challenges and competes for a spot on the leaderboard. Riders can play solo or team up, and a mobile device is required to play.
For a shared story instead of a game, the Magical History Tour takes your team through the Strand, the 1900 Storm and the East End's Victorian mansions in 2 hours, finishing at the Seawall.
Birthdays, bachelorette parties and celebrations
The Rat Pack Tour tells the story of the Free State of Galveston (1915–1962), when casinos and nightclubs like the Balinese Room made the island the "Playground of the South." The 6:00 PM departure makes a fun start to a night out.
Prefer to build your own celebration route? A private tour lets you choose the stops and pace for your group.
Family reunions and mixed groups
When your group has different energy levels and schedules, shorter tours work best. The Pirates Tale Tour (1 hour) has Jean Lafitte, buried treasure and a real tall ship. The Seawall Cruise Tour (1 hour) is a relaxed ride along the Gulf. The Segway Experience (30 minutes) is a quick first ride.
